Work began on this 16th century listed property (reputably one of the oldest in the village) in 2002, to restore the then dilapidated and partially ruined building to it’s former glory – and in the process create three, five bedroom dwellings.

This development project demanded that certain original features (including inglenook fireplaces, intricate stone door and window surrounds, lime mortar pointing and oak queen post trusses) were retained and restored. Alongside this, contemporary installations such as central heating (with condensing boilers) were installed as well as up to date insulation systems. The methods applied facilitated the creation of a truly unique building.
