This logistically challenging project was carried out as part of a much larger development of St. Stephens Quay, Hull. The R N Wooler & Co site was a second floor shell, central to the HBG controlled site. The awkward access of materials and operatives required very careful planning and control to prevent a clash of interests.
The scheme entailed a fit-out of a newly constructed unit into a Gala Bingo hall, incorporating an auditorium, café servery and bar. A new bespoke and branded shop front was manufactured and installed. A mezzanine floor area was also fitted out for offices and staff accommodation.
In addition to R N Wooler & Co directly employed labour and a mixture of domestic and client direct subcontractors helped to realise this quality scheme within a restrictive site and time frame.
This challenging and specialist project was another example of an R N Wooler & Co marked success.
